Institutions seeking initial accreditation with OTCAC should first review the eligibility requirements in our Accreditation Handbook, available upon request. We accredit only distance education courses. Each step of the accreditation process is described in detail within the OTCAC Accreditation Handbook. Institutions should anticipate a minimum of two months from the first step through to the final decision on granting initial accreditation. However, most courses require 3 months for this process.
