Provider Accreditation

We accredit online education course providers free of charge. Of course, we hope that our hard work will lead to us partnering again in the near future as your education course accreditor, but you’re under no obligation to choose us for this (even though our price and credentials should really make you consider it).

This document outlines the fee structure for course accreditation and ongoing membership with OTCAC. All fees are designed to support the thorough review process conducted by our qualified team of education professionals.

SECTION 1: INITIAL ACCREDITATION FEES

1.1 Provider Verification / Accreditation

  • Initial Provider Verification: Free 
    • Includes review of provider website and public information
    • Assessment of eligibility for course accreditation

1.2 Initial Course Accreditation Fees

Fees are based on the number of courses submitted for accreditation simultaneously. Contact us for course fees where hours are less than 60:

Payment Schedule:

  • 50% deposit due at submission of Formal Course Accreditation Application 
  • Remaining 50% due upon completion of the accreditation review, upon accreditation awarded status (provisional or full). If you are denied (‘not yet’ status) accreditation, you have one attempt to meet those specifically flagged standards.

SECTION 2: MEMBERSHIP FEES

2.1 First Year Membership

  • First year membership is included with initial accreditation fee
  • Covers all administrative and listing services for 12 months from accreditation date

2.2 Annual Renewal Fees

After the first year, annual membership fees apply:

  • Continued listing in OTCAC directory of accredited providers
  • Use of OTCAC accreditation badge/seal for website and marketing materials
  • Annual verification check
  • Support for provisionally accredited courses working toward full accreditation
  • Access to OTCAC standards updates
  • Ability to sign-up for certificate design and mailing service

 

SECTION 3: RE-ACCREDITATION FEES

All accredited courses must undergo full re-accreditation every 5 years:

Payment Schedule:

  • 50% deposit due at submission of Formal Course Re-Accreditation Application 
  • Remaining 50% due upon completion of the accreditation review, upon accreditation awarded status (provisional or full). If you are denied (‘not yet’ status) accreditation, you have two attempts to meet those specifically flagged standards.
  • Essentially, this process should be a formality – considering the status of your course as pre-accredited at this stage); however, courses that have drastically changed, for example, may need to be changed in order to realign with OTCAC’s strict standards
  • One year membership is included with the re-accreditation fee
 

SECTION 4: ADDITIONAL SERVICES AND FEES

SECTION 5: PAYMENT INFORMATION

5.1 Accepted Payment Methods

5.2 Currency

  • All fees are listed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP)
  • Payments in other currencies will be converted at the current exchange rate

5.3 Invoicing

  • Invoices will be issued for all fees
  • Payment terms: 14 days from invoice date

SECTION 6: REFUND POLICY

  • Initial Provider Verification: No fee, no refund applicable
  • 50% Accreditation Deposit: Non-refundable once review process has begun
  • Final 50% Payment: Non-refundable
  • Annual Membership Fees: Non-refundable once membership year has begun
  • Exception: Full refund if OTCAC fails to complete review within 30 days of access being granted

Our pricing is transparent. You know from the start exactly what you'll pay for our services: a fixed initial fee, annual membership, and a 5-yearly re-accreditation.

Online Course Accreditation

We specialize in online education course accreditation. This keeps us specialized and efficient. Our prices will be lower while we amass new clients, but will gradually rise. Existing contracts are locked at their initial fixed prices, of course. Our standards keep our affiliated course providers and their courses to a high standard, but they also ensure that we are likewise kept to the acme of professionalism.

Certificate Design

Another service we offer our accreditation clients is certificate design. For new course providers, the design of certificates may be an overlooked component, but this (aside from the provider or company's name) is the first lens that schools have to judge the credibility of the training institute: clean, beautiful, and professional course certificates are especially essential for a TEFL course provider's image.

Certificate Mailing

We also offer a separate service attached to our accreditation of online courses - we offer a print, emboss, and send service of certificates on high-quality, dense paper, delivered worldwide to most desitnations via UPS or FedEx. Our certificates are beautifully printed and come with postal insurance. Customers can be directed to our site's secure payment link or you can pay on your customer's behalf.
